What does Kingdom Reign look like?

The Kingdom is about transformation… Something changing within God followers.

The Kingdom of God is not a place to go or a status to achieve it is an on going mission.

The Kingdom of God cannot be achieved but only received.  Brian McLaren

The Kingdom of God exists wherever God reigns.

114 Times Jesus mentions the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom is like…

Allowing the Kingdom reign to be real means:

1.     We deal with the issue of AllegianceMatthew 6:33 Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven

Kingdom living is about putting Jesus at the top of our priority list.

Allowing the Kingdom reign to be real means:

2.     We Integrate kingdom principles into every area of our life - Luke 13:20-21

All of life brought to and submitted to the loving kingship of God.

We try to separate the secular and the spiritual.

Romans 12:1 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. The Message

Allowing the Kingdom reign to be real means:

3.     The Power of God Transforms our lives - Mark 4:30-32

“I don’t know if when Jesus was in Palestine he turned water into wine but I know in my house he turned beer into furniture.”

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed… NIV

“A long time ago we came to this place to do a bad, bad thing.  But now…"  Kimo Acua Indian

As we settle the issue of Allegiance and Integrate God's Rule in all of life we are blessed by the transforming power of God

The kingdom is not only beyond our efforts it is beyond our vision. Oscar Romero

Matthew 6:9-10 ~   “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,  your kingdom come…

… right here right now to my heart
